Rhinetown

Friday was my day off and I didn't have much to do, so I walked around downtown Rhinelander.

I started off just kind of checking out different houses.

But then I got distracted by a (possibly?) abandoned train yard.

I ended up hanging out there most of the afternoon reading.

Abby and I found an inch worm on my sweater the other day.

Gingerbaird overboard

Liz came to visit me this weekend from Trout Lake Station, and we got waterskiing crossed off of her bucket list. She was up after about two attempts, exhibiting her usual tendencies to be a boss at whatever she chooses.

There were a few minor slip ups.

Besides that, Liz was a rock star.

Meet Rainbow Dash

This little girl at camp this week refused to be called by her real name. I don't even know it, actually. She only answered to "Rainbow Dash," the name of one of the characters from My Little Pony. We probably would have been friends if we had both been 4 at the same time. I tried to change my name to Margorite for a while. I thought it was cool. Then again, I also thought My Little Pony was cool.

Either way, Rainbow Dash is definitely cool.

Found a baby turtle last week. Fun ensued.

The turtle's name is Milton. The pretty lady at the end is Lucy.

I don't know that little girl.

Camp life is pretty great. Looking forward to putting up some of pictures of my fellow summer staffers. Which I'll do as soon as I cross some things off my to do list.

Speaking of which, I'm almost done editing photos of Zach and Pame's wedding. Here's one of my favorites so far.
