I've always believed that the people I meet at Fort Wilderness tend to be a higher caliber of awesome than the average individual, and Rachael is good piece of evidence of my belief that "camp breeds cool." Her senior pictures shoot involved a lot more dumpsters, rooftops, and trespassing than most peoples'. And it probably involved more laughter, too. This girl's a riot. And the pictures prove it.

She's made of awesome.

I grabbed her on our typical Tuesday night---Cotton candy. Ukuleles. Boat Shoes.

I happened to be in Davis, CA during the 2011 Whole Earth Festival.

If you could imagine Hippie Heaven, you have a pretty good picture of what this was like.

I move back to school in 6 days.

Summer, please never end.

During our visit to San Francisco, Lara and I bought what turned out to be the most delicious strawberries and chocolate in the whole universe.

Before we discovered this, we wondered around SF looking for somewhere pretty to sit and eat our food. We got to enjoy some classic San Fran architecture. I was pretty sure every street was where Full House was filmed.

After about an hour we found ourselves on the roof of a parking garage that overlooked the city and the bay.

I went to visit Lara the week after Finals.

Every day was one of the best days of my year.

One day, Lara ditched school and we headed to San Francisco.

We hung out on the wharf all afternoon and then watched the sunset on the pier.

How romantic.

Rhinetown

Friday was my day off and I didn't have much to do, so I walked around downtown Rhinelander.

I started off just kind of checking out different houses.

But then I got distracted by a (possibly?) abandoned train yard.

I ended up hanging out there most of the afternoon reading.
