Well, Venice is sinking.
And they're really not kidding about that.
San Marco flooded one night during our stay.
I was walking Shawna back to her hostel and was going to grab coffee and sit for a bit before heading back to El Piave. However, when I got there, there were some areas where what was normally cobble stone was above-ankle-deep water. Went back to the hotel, and headed back to San Marco with some of the others who wanted to see it, too.
